Seeing I am off to the Bridge first thing in the morning I thought I would wish you all a safe trip wherever you're coming from and a fantastic weekend. The weather looks good and the field is down to 225 so won't be any more congested than last year.
Good luck and see you there! :D

What do i say.............that had to be the biggest pile of shit ever. I have officially quit and will not be returning to AIPP, the thing has turned into a joke, after all the crap last year now this. We were deliberatly taken out by Firetruck/Firestorm during the night and that killed our race. We were fighting back but...........

See you on friday Tim, that new Blueshift jumper fit well? :P

I think i was speaking with my 'Ballistic' hat on then, i stand by my coments about 06 and 07 being Sh*tty and the whole thing being a joke but those who know me would understand that i like nothing more than a sh*t joke. Also i have another motive for riding this year that id rather not get into.

While im here i might as well wish everyone good luck, chances are that your not going to see much of me this weekend as im racing in the crit on friday then going home for a good nights sleep in my own bed before the 24. then its ride-eat-sleep-eat-ride.

This year should be really fast. Ballistic (SASI). clearly is the team to beat, with the riders they have got its their race to loose but we'll give them a run for their money. looking at our team id say its the most experienced team ever put together for an AIPP. It will be intersting how TRU BLU goes this year, im still not totally convinced about those fairings for open teams in 24's, no doubting their efficiency tho. BYR will be starting as underdogs for the first time in years but i think that they can deal with that. Those are the teams that i think will make up the top four with a vicious battle for 5th between 4 or more teams. If Ballistic have a clear run they should win, but when has that ever happened.

Personally Ill be happy if i can do some long fast stints and get near the lap record.

Cant be positive on it but Id be willing to say any. Between myself and Brett we have more than 50 PP races and the others are the same

SASi should be riding the head in trike (which was a rebuild of the excellent 06 trike) but a new one is apparently being built this week so your guess is as good as mine.

cool, well lets hope its a nice clear race n it doesnt fog for ne1 then! may the best team win!

thats a fair few, we may push you not sure...

I've done 15 or so 24 hour races

I think Jeff has done 25 + 24 hour races

Gareth has done 20+ 24 hour races

n then the other 5 would vary from 2 to 8 races ( i think)

so theres a fair few races there, n note im not counting any 6 hour races either!

but hey whats experience without speed as well!

I believe Ballistic/SASI will be heads in.

We had ours, and another one on the velodrome last night and they were super slippy. Fogging wasnt a big issue either as long as the car was moving. We still need to cut some rear vents for air flow, sort out the glare from the front light, and then we're in business :) .
